Pre-Installation Checklist
We’re looking forward to your upcoming installation. To help ensure everything goes smoothly, please review the checklist below prior to our arrival.
Preparing for Your Installation
To provide a safe and efficient installation, we ask that the work areas be properly prepared before our team arrives.
- Access & Readiness
Unless alternate arrangements have been approved by our office, please ensure an adult (18+) is present during the installation appointment. - Clear the work area:
Please move furniture, décor, and seasonal items (such as Christmas trees) away from the windows or walls where work will be performed. A minimum of 3–4 feet of clear space is recommended to allow for ladders and equipment. - Requesting assistance with moving items:
If you need help moving furniture, please notify our team when scheduling your appointment. If this was not previously arranged, contact our office as soon as possible at 864-735-7688 so we can allocate additional time. - Important note regarding furniture moving:
Our installation team is not a professional moving service. While we will take reasonable care, we cannot assume responsibility for damage to floors, walls, or furnishings resulting from moving personal items. - Remove fragile or valuable items:
Please relocate breakable items such as glass décor, lamps, ceramics, and large potted plants away from the installation area prior to arrival. - Ensure a safe work environment:
For safety reasons, we ask that children and indoor pets be kept away from the work area during installation.
What to Expect After Installation
Once the installation is complete, our team will:
- Review the operation of your window treatments
- Provide basic care and maintenance instructions
- Answer any questions you may have
