COVID-19 Policy
We know that (eventually) everything is going to be alright. But until then, the coronavirus is something that employees and customers alike will have to deal with. Below is a brief summary of our COVID-19 Policy and the steps that can be taken to mitigate the risks involved.
The health and safety of everyone we come into contact with is very important to us.
Steps that we take to mitigate the risks of the coronavirus:
- We use hand sanitizers and disinfecting wipes/sprays on our tools and equipment. We also frequently wash our hands using soap and hot water.
- Whenever possible, we try to maintain a safe personal distance between staff and customers.
- Any staff member that is showing symptoms of the illness is required to stay home.
- Upon request, staff members in your home will use shoe booties, disposable gloves, and/or face coverings, provided doing so does not create a safety hazard for the staff member.
- Unless the size of the job requires multiple personnel, we will only send one staff member to your home or jobsite.
- We will work as quickly and efficiently as possible to limit the amount of time we are in your home. However, we will not sacrifice the quality of our workmanship for the sake of speed.
Steps that you can take to mitigate the risks of the coronavirus:
- Whenever possible, please maintain a safe personal distance between yourself and our staff.
- Contact us immediately if you have symptoms of COVID-19 so that we can reschedule your appointment.
- Move/relocate furniture or other items in front of your windows and walkways so that we can access the space without having to touch additional items in your home. This also helps us to prevent accidentally knocking over any breakables.
- If possible, keep children out of the areas where our staff will be working. The same goes for pets, especially if your new puppy is just too cute and adorable for words, we may want to play with him all day and not get any work done.
- During an installation or service/repair appointment, we are asking you to allow the installer freedom to move throughout your home and have you remain in a different room than them to maintain social distancing. As the installer moves around the home, they might be less talkative than normal, but please feel free to ask questions as they perform their duties.
